It’s so easy to let life get in the way of your every day way of intended living and being. We all have a certain way we want to live, goals we want to achieve. If you’ve been reading this blog of mine for a while then you’ll know that I am big on goals, achieving them and creating habits.
Yet, I have to admin that the last 6 months have been a bit of a bland experience regarding my goals and way of moving forward. Not that the last 6 months was bad, as a matter of fact it’s been pretty amazing. But, it’s not what I need. I know it. A quick recap, these are a brief overview of the goals I set out for myself starting the year. Click:

Looking at these goals again I realized that most of them have slipped away into nothingness. Especially point 2 and 4. I need to get back into it! Urgently! Watching this video was just what I needed to get me motivated again. Start incorporating the Holy hour:
This is the first hour of your day. Start with exercise, then quiet time, or the other way around. Use this time to collect thoughts, go over the days schedule or meditate. 20/20/20, from 5:00AM – 6:00AM.
-20 minutes workout
-20 minutes planning your day/going over your schedule
-20 minutes reading, meditating.
This is a difficult one for me, my mornings already start at 5:30AM so getting up even earlier is really going to be a stretch for me. At the moment my ‘holy hour’ is broken up into sections. I have my exercise in the afternoons, and meditation/quiet time once I get to work. I realize this is something I may need to change. The whole point is to do this first thing in the morning. This is how you start your day.
But, I at least have the desire to put more time into reading, meditating, thinking. I need to get back in control of where things are going, where I am going.
So I guess the purpose of this post is just to say that I am taking back control starting Today!
